2020 Metastatic Breast Cancer Symposium

Over 150 metastatic breast cancer patients, advocates, care givers, and partners gathered together on February 22, 2020 at the National Press Club, Washington, DC for the 2020 Metastatic Breast Cancer (MBC) Symposium. A Susan G. Komen signature event organized yearly to address the most current information on MBC, the symposium featured panel discussions in English and Spanish, and breakout sessions that addressed some of the specific needs of the participants.

Leading area physicians, health care providers, and advocates were brought together to share the latest treatment advances, clinical trials, patient support services, and national advocacy issues for MBC and lobular breast cancer (ILC).

We will continue to provide support and resources to the MBC community in the Washington DC metropolitan area and facilitate the building of a strong support system for this community to thrive. To learn more about our MBC Impact Series, click here.
