Introducing our new team members for the Community Health and Global Programs
Lisa Han: Manager, Community Health
Lisa will be implementing the Community Health work out of the DC office for the National Capital Region.
Before joining Komen, Lisa worked at the Prevent Cancer Foundation and has a wealth of experience working in the nonprofit sector. She has worked on a variety of issues including access the health care, affordable housing, environmental health justice, and gang-intervention strategy. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Chicago and Master of Public Policy at UCLA.
Lisa enjoys knitting and simple sewing projects for fun. However most of her free time is spent on travel and spending time with family. She prefers beach vacations, but married an avid skier and now does a run or two, relying heavily on the après-ski.
Annie Coriolan: Manager, Global Programs
Prior to Komen, Annie was a Senior Manager – Global Programs at NASTAD, where she provided technical assistance to ministries of health as they strived to address their HIV epidemic. During her time at NASTAD, she supported the Guyana Ministry of Public Health in updating their HIV case-based surveillance system, managed the Patient Linkage and Retention and Index Testing programs in Haiti and Uganda; and supported various other countries in the Caribbean or Africa.
Annie enjoys being able to leverage best practices and experiences from other countries, as well as facilitate that exchange between countries or ministries of health. She obtained her MPH degree in Global Health from Loma Linda University, and her BS degree in Community Health from the University of Maryland.
Annie loves traveling and experiencing new food and culture, reading, and working on jigsaw puzzles. She is originally from Petionville, Haiti. Annie speaks French and Creole. She will be working from our Washington DC office.
